In September 2016, a longtime friend and fellow photographer decided to take a 4 day road trip. The original intent was to see the Glade Creek Grist Mill (WV) and visit the Noah's Ark park (Ky).
Of course we did see the grist mill and Ark, but along the way we ran across some magnificent waterfalls. Sandstone Falls in West Virginia and the waterfall loop in Western North Carolina were fantastic.
All in all, a wonderfully relaxing trip. These photos are just a sample of what the good old United States has to offer.
One thing I learned from this trip is not to always be in a hurry. By taking time to slow down and observe, many rewarding experiences can be had.
